About
Logos is a quarterly journal of modern culture, politics and society that features articles on the arts, politics, culture, the social sciences and humanities as well as original fiction and poetry.
Logos seeks to foster a critical dialogue on modern politics, culture and society through both intellectual and aesthetic lenses.
Articles take a critical stance toward their subject matter in order to render them more lucid and comprehensible. Fiction and poetry can be of an experimental nature and are not restricted to commonplace or mainstream approaches to form and content.
Letters to the Editor
Letters to the editor as well as comments and commentaries on previously published material in Logos can be sent to editor@logosjournal.com. We encourage all feedback and look forward to hearing from you.
Submissions
Logos accepts articles (2000 to 8000 words), commentaries (500 to 2000 words), book and film reviews (1500 to 4000 words) as well as short stories and poetry.
Articles should be of a “critical” nature, by which is meant an approach to the subject matter that tries to reveal larger themes within modern culture and society. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and used only for information which would be distracting in the body of the text. Fiction and poetry can be of an experimental nature but it is not a prerequisite for publication. Commentaries may be brief notes on culture, politics and/or society that function more as opinions to provoke thought and critical dialogue. We also accept unsolicited book (fiction and non-fiction) and film reviews. Suggestions for themed issues are also welcome.
Manuscripts may be submitted as Word attachments or copied in the body of an e-mail message. They should be double spaced with one inch margins all around. Contact information for all authors must be provided including e-mail and phone number(s). Please allow at least 6 weeks for editorial response.
Send manuscripts via e-mail to Greg Zucker at: greg@logosjournal.com. If you would prefer to mail a floppy disk or manuscript, please e-mail Greg Zucker for mailing instructions.
